  • 1984 Munster hurling final: Tipperary led by four points with four minutes remaining when Tony O'Sullivan and Seanie O'Leary scored goals and snatched victory for Cork.
  • 1983 Munster football final: Cork substitute Tadhgie Murphy grabbed on to a free in injury time and bustled it into the Kerry goal off the post.
  • 1982 All-Ireland football final: Offaly substitute Seamus Darby scored in the last minute, Kerry fumbled the counter-attack and missed five-in-a-row.
  • 1958 All-Ireland football semi-final: Sean O'Connell scored a shock goal with two minutes to go against Kerry that put Derry into their first ever final.
  • 1946 All-Ireland football final: Roscommon led Kerry by six points with three minutes to go, Paddy Burke and Tom "Gega" O'Connor goals forced a draw and Kerry won the replay.
  • 1933 All-Ireland football semi-final: Vincent McGovern scored a Cavan goal with two minutes to go and deprived Kerry of the chance of five-in-a-row.
  • 1926 All-Ireland football final: Bill Gorman scored a last-minute equalising goal against Kildare. Kerry won the replay by three points.
  • 1922 All-Ireland hurling final: Kilkenny were three points down with three minutes to go when Paddy Donoghue and Dick Tobin scored goals. Tipperary missed the chance of an equalising goal.
  • 1903 All-Ireland football final: A last-minute goal by Dick Fitzgerald was disputed and the match had to be replayed twice before Kerry beat Kildare.
  • 1900 All-Ireland hurling final: Tipperary scored two goals against London in the last six minutes, the first from a free which was conceded because the goalkeeper fouled the ball taking it out of a rut.
