McGrath McGrath Cup Originally presented by P.J. McGrath of Fethard in Tipperary in the late 1920's. The competition died out in the 1940's at which stage the Cup went missing. The competition was re-started in the 1970's with the Cup presented by another McGrath, Joe from Co. Down. Joe is involved in coaching Gaelic Games in Cork and has trained many inter-county and club teams over the years.
